DAY 01 : KUALA LUMPUR / COCHIN
Depart Kuala Lumpur and arrive Cochin Airport. After Customs and Immigration clearance, meet our representative and transfer to hotel.

DAY 02 : COCHIN / ALLEPPEY (Breakfast)
Morning after breakfast, proceed for Cochin City Tour - Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Saturdays) St.Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica.
While driving along the coastline, at the Harbour's Mouth, one can also view the unique and still in use "Chinese Fishing Nets" which were introduced by the Chinese traders in the 14 th century. The tour ends in Fort Kochi area where you can walk through the historical Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of nearly 500 years old fort are still amazingly weel preserved. Also visit Chottanikkarai Bhagavathy Amman Temple. Later proceed to Alleppey. Upon arrival, check in to houseboat. The boat cruises and you have a close look into an engaging rustic life. Large flotillas of duck wadding down to the water from thatched house on the banks. As we travel through the backwaters we pass through rural settlements sited on narrow strips of land between waterways. The backwaters area a hive of activity with village life all along the banks, boat men taking goods and materials from one village to the next, children swimming women washing clothes, and fishermenin tradiitonal wooden boats. Meals and overnight at House Boat.

DAY 03 : ALLEPPEY / TRIVANDRUM / KANYAKUMARI (Breakfast)
Morning proceed to Trivandrum, visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Kovalam Beach. Later proceed to Kanyakumari and view sunset and the three seawater meet with different colour. Bay of Bengal (black), Indian Ocean (white), Arabic Sea (red). Later check in to hotel.

DAY 04 : KANYAKUMARI / THIRUCHENDUR / RAMESHWARAM (Breakfast)
Morning after breakfast at hotel, visit Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Mandapam & Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Then, proceed to Thiruchendur, visit Murugan Temple (Aarupadaiveedu). Later, proceed to Rameshwaram and check in hotel.

DAY 05 : RAMESHWARAM / MADURAI (Breakfast)
Morning visit Ramantha Swamy Temple and take a holy bath in 22 wells and then depart to Madurai. Upon arrival, check in to hotel. evening visit Meenakshi Amman Temple and Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple (Aarupadaiveedu).

DAY 06 : MADURAI / PALANI / TRICHY (Breakfast)
Morning after breakfast at hotel, depart to Palani, visit Dhandayuthapani Temple (Aarupadaiveedu). Later, proceed to Trichy. Upon arrival, check in to hotel.

DAY 07 : TRICHY / THANJAVUR / KUMBAKONAM (Breakfast)
Morning visit Uchi Pillaiyar Temple at Rckfort and Srirangam Ranganathar Swamy Temple. Then proceed to Thanjavur, visit Brihadeeswarar Temple. eveing, proceed to Kumbakonam and check in to hotel.

DAY 08 : KUMBAKONAM / CHIDAMBARAM / THIRUVANNAMALAI / KANCHIPURAM (Breakfast)
Morning visit Swamimalai Murugan Temple (Aarupadaiveedu) and later proceed to Chidambaram to visit Natarajar Temple (Panchapoodha Sthalam-Sky). Then, proceed to Thiruvannamalai, vist Aunachaleswarar Temple (Panchapoodha Sthalam-Fire). Evening proceed to Kanchipuram, check in to hotel.

DAY 09 : KANCHIPURAM / VELLORE / TIRUPATHI (Breakfast)
Morning visit Kamatchi Amman Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple (Panchapoodha Sthalam-Earth) and proceed to Vellore to visit Golden Temple. Evening proceed to Tirupathi. On arrival, check in to hotel.

DAY 10 : TIRUPATHI / KALAHASHTI / TIRUTHANI / CHENNAI (Breakfast)
Morning visit Lord Venkateswara Temple at Thirumala and later proceed to Chennai. Then, proceed to Kalahashti, visit Swamy Temple (Panchapoodha Sthalam-Wind). Enroute visit Tiruthani Murugan Temple (Aarupadaiveedu). Upon arrival in Chennai, check in to hotel.

DAY 11 : CHENNAI (Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for half-day Chennai City Tour. Morning drive to Chennai and proceed for sightseeing - visit Valluvar Koottam, Anna / MGR Samadhi, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Valluvar Kottam and Marina Beach.

DAY 12 : CHENNAI (Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, free for shopping - no transport.

DAY 13 : CHENNAI / KUALA LUMPUR (Breakfast)
On time, transfer to Chennai Airport to board a flight and arrive Kuala Lumpur with sweet memories of an enjoyable holiday.

1) RESERVATION / DEPOSIT / FULL PAYMENT

Deposit must be paid upon reservation and the balance must be paid 35 days prior to departure.

A deposit which is 50 % of the total ground cost must be paid upon confirmation of the booking.

FLIGHT TICKET

Ticket fees must be fully paid during the time of booking.

VISA APPLICATION FEE

Visa application fee must be prepaid in full by the applicant and is not refundable.

 

2) CANCELLATION / POSTPONEMENT CHARGES

Once booked, a basic administration fees of RM 300.00 / person will be collected.

90 days before departure ………… RM   500.00 per person

60 days before departure ………… RM 1000.00 per person

30 days before departure ………… RM 2000.00 per person

21 days before departure ………… 50 % of tour fare

 

3) TRAVEL DOCUMENT

It is passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid international passport, relevant visas & health certificates if required and ample time must be given to Viking Tours & Travel for visa application.

5) TOUR FARE EXCLUDES
Airport tax, fuel surcharge, ticket insurance, visa fees, port tax and service fees, excess baggage charge, beverage, room service, laundry, porterage, room items damage during occupancy, personal and baggage insurance, gratuities to driver and tour escort, US Custom Fee / Immigration Tax and all items of personal nature. All the above charges shall be borne entirely by the tour member and is subject to change. Exact amount will be based on the due date of ticket issue. Any difference has to be topped up by the tour member.

6) CHILD FARE

Child fare is based on sharing room with two adults. A surcharge will be imposed for a child who occupies a room with only one adult.

 

7) GROUND TOUR HANDLING

Our company endeavours to provide exclusive ground handling transportation and sightseeing services. However, tour members may be placed on a seat-in-coach basis operated by a local Day Tour company where necessary due to insufficient group size.

 

8) EXTENSION OF STAY

#Extension of ticket must be informed at the time of reservation.

#Extension of ticket is only permitted at the last stop but subject to airfare difference &

  seat confirmation by the airline.

#Airport transfer will not be provided.

In the event of flight delay or cancellation requiring oneself to extend his/her stay in hotel(s), the cost shall be borne by him / her solely.  Viking Tours & Travel (M) Sdn. Bhd. and respective ground agents shall not be held liable for the additional charges caused by any Airlines’ delay or cancellation.

9) BAGGAGE

The baggage allowance given per passenger varies according to the airlines. (All baggage at owner’s risk unless insured). The company assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to baggage or belongings (checked-in or hand carried) whilst they are in the custody of the airlines. Other transportation companies, accommodation supplies. However, the company will assist you in filling the relevant claims (e.g in the airport) provided it does not interfere with the conduct of the tour or other members of the tour group.

 

10) RESPONSIBILITY
 

In event of any deviation or additional usage of transportation or extra charges in hotels incur during the tour, the additional cost shall be borne by the client (s) and paid directly to the relevant person concerned. Viking Tours & Travel accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage to you or your belongings or resulting directly from any occurrences beyond its control including breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delays, medical or customs regulations, cancellations, change in itinerary of schedules, etc. Travel documents are the responsibility of persons taking the tours. The organizers reserve the right to alter itineraries, travel arrangements, hotel accommodation reserved etc., if this is necessary or in the case of force majeure. The company reserves the right to cancel land tour prior to departure for any reasons, including insufficient number of participants. Should this happen the entire payment will be refunded without further obligations on the part of the company. Viking Tours & Travel also reserves the right to require any individual to withdraw from the tour if it is deemed that his act or conduct is detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony and welfare of other clients and the tour as a whole and Viking Tours & Travel shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person. No guides, tour leaders or other employees or agent of Viking Tours & Travel is authorized to commit the company to any liability whatsoever and the company will not be bounded by any statement or representation unless it is in writing and signed by a management executive of the company. The special air ticket issued is based on group travel and restricted to respective airline. It is strictly non-endorsable, non-refundable, on-reroutable. Alteration on the routing or date of travel is at the passenger’s own risk. No refund will be made to any person for unused air-ticket or who do not utilize any meal and sightseeing tour or accommodation not use in in part or full. 

 

# For handicapped / disabled individual passengers, it should be accompanied by his/her own family relatives for care-taking.

 

Also note that any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances, etc. to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot. The organizers strongly urge all the intending passengers to equip themselves with all special care or needs they may require.

 

11) TRAVEL INSURANCE

All tour members are encouraged to buy travel insurance to safeguard themselves against sickness, loss of money, cancellation, flight delays or lost baggage.

12) COST VARIATION

 

The package cost is based on current airfare, airport taxes and other relevant cost and is subject to change with the introduction of any new taxes, surcharges and foreign exchange fluctuations etc. if there is any. Local government taxes and interstate permit charges can be changed even after your tour departure.
